The 2025 Kid Captains, their families, and fans kicked off the start of the upcoming Iowa football season during Kids' Day 2025 at Kinnick Stadium. The annual event, hosted by the Iowa Hawkeye football team in partnership with UI Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital, provided an opportunity for Kid Captains and families to get a behind-the-scenes tour of Kinnick Stadium. Kid Captains and members of the Hawkeye football team got the chance to meet each other for the first time. Each Kid Captain will have their story highlighted during the 2025-26 Iowa football season, beginning on Saturday, Aug. 30.
