Iowa LEND is now accepting applications for 2025-2026. Applications are due on or before Friday, February 14, 2025.

Requirements:

  • Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in people with disabilities and their family members.
  • Applicants must be a graduate student enrolled full time in an academic program, practicing professional, family member, person with a disability, or a community member with an interest in improving opportunities for people with disabilities.
  • Applicants must be available to attend LEND seminars from 12:00-1:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from late August to early May.

Graduate students and practicing professionals in healthcare or community settings representing various disciplines including audiology, genetics, healthcare administration, law, medicine, mental health counseling, nursing, occupational therapy, policy, public health, physical therapy, psychology, school counseling, speech-language pathology, social work, special education, direct service professionals, or other approved disciplines should complete this application:
